In the world, India made history. India has officially joined the four nations that have successfully landed on the moon with the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on Wednesday night.

Chandrayaan 3 Update : India became the fourth country

We all lived through this ISRO effort as countrymen and made history together. The scientists who were working around the clock on this mission and ISRO as a whole deserve all the credit for this flawless landing. Scientists from ISRO and India felt disappointed at the moment of Chandrayaan-2's failure to launch. As a result of this time's scientists' thorough preparation, India has now successfully landed on the moon's south pole, where no nation has before done so. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has proved that India can do whatever it wants

How important was the mission

The presence of water on the moon was discovered for the first time by India's mission. Previously, NASA has utterly dismissed the possibility of water on the moon. The entire world's attention was now focused on India's Chandrayaan-3. The successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on August 23 suggests that there is hope for finding answers to all of humanity's questions about the moon.

How is this landing beneficial for the scientist and the country

In this mission, Vikram Lander and Pragyan Rover will investigate the moon's atmosphere, surface, chemicals, earthquakes, minerals etc. ISRO and scientists will get accurate information and other countries will also benefit from this information. It will be easy to do research and scientists will find out whether life is possible on the moon.

The Chandrayaan-3 mission cost about 615 crore rupees. This is significantly less expensive than the spacecraft sent to the moon by Russia, America, and China. Despite having fewer resources, India has carved out a position as a space power. With this landing, India joins the United States, the Soviet Union, and China as the fourth country to walk on the moon.

The great hero of ISRO

Apart from S Somnath, Project Director P Veeramuthuvel, Mission Director Mohana Kumar, Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC) Director S Unnikrishnan Nair, UR Rao Satellite Center (URSC) Director M Sankaran and Launch Authorization Board were instrumental in making Chandrayaan-3 a success. (LAB) chief A Rajarajan also played an important role. It was aerospace engineer S Somnath who helped design Chandrayaan's vehicle Mark-III or Bahubali rocket. S Mohana Kumar is the mission director of Chandrayaan-3. He is a senior scientist at Vikram Sarabhai Space Center. Prior to Chandrayaan-3, he was the director of the One Web India 2 satellite on the LVM3-M3 mission.
